These are smallholders who are self-financed and self-managed and who are not linked to any company. We support them by facilitating their inclusion into our supply chain and by promoting the implementation of practices to increase productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
Our smallholder engagement programs are designed to promote the benefits of sustainable land management and to build capacity for livelihood improvements. To that end, our Farmer Field School program has been developed in collaboration with Daemeter Consulting and aims to help smallholder farmers to improve crop productivity and adopt good agricultural practices.
